Key learnings from the midterm project:

  • Prototype EARLY & FAST! Once you have eliminated guesswork, you can proceed with testing and have more time to iterate on your design = more time to make it finished!
  • Wearable projects tend to be small, and small is usually hard to design for BEGINNERS! Contraints can be challenging and oddly satisfying to see a simplified result.
  • Your idea should be something you are passionate about. It will be important as inspiration sticks with an innovator’s highs and lows.
