I published my persona list here.
IDEA 1:
I thought of building a language translator app, I’d like to understand the current user behavior between a parent and a child.
I plan on scoping this out using the following questions:
- What current tools do you use to teach your child anything? It could be about ABC’s, Reading, Numbers or colors. Why do you think this app/tool works?
- What are your observations about how your child would respond to this tool/app?
- How do you teach your child a new word? Walk me through that process.
- Do you think there is a way to help improve this process?
IDEA 2:
Empty Nest Syndrome (ENS) App
My mom, a 53 yo a mother of 6 has found herself alone as her kids are all moved out.
Here are my assumptions:
- Will tracking habits, feelings and thoughts is the first step to help user sort her ENS?
- What devices is she currently using?
- What does her current communication with her circle look like?
- What devices is she using for communication?
Hi Krizia, great job on the persona exercise. Even after reading your persona page carefully, I am still not sure how voice-activated app solves your problem. Do you have any insight on why “voice-activated” feature is necessary? As we talked about, this current persona page should be about the “dad.” Having another persona page on your nephew would be great to provide a clear distinction between two personas.

Thanks for the feedback, Su! I will revise this and will try to capture a good user flow from my research.
