IDEA 1:

I thought of building a language translator app, I’d like to understand the current user behavior between a parent and a child.

I plan on scoping this out using the following questions:

  1. What current tools do you use to teach your child anything? It could be about ABC’s, Reading, Numbers or colors. Why do you think this app/tool works?
  2. What are your observations about how your child would respond to this tool/app?
  3. How do you teach your child a new word? Walk me through that process.
  4. Do you think there is a way to help improve this process?

 

IDEA 2:

Empty Nest Syndrome (ENS) App

My mom, a 53 yo a mother of 6 has found herself alone as her kids are all moved out.

Here are my assumptions:

  1. Will tracking habits, feelings and thoughts is the first step to help user sort her ENS?
  2. What devices is she currently using?
  3. What does her current communication with her circle look like?
  4. What devices is she using for communication?

  1. Hi Krizia, great job on the persona exercise. Even after reading your persona page carefully, I am still not sure how voice-activated app solves your problem. Do you have any insight on why “voice-activated” feature is necessary? As we talked about, this current persona page should be about the “dad.” Having another persona page on your nephew would be great to provide a clear distinction between two personas.
